Embark on a captivating 2 hours journey with our guided boardwalk tour, followed by an exclusive presentation on our Alligator Sanctuary and the fascinating American Alligator! Dive into enlightening discussions on topics ranging from cold-blooded vs. warm-blooded creatures, apex predators, and intricate food webs to animal adaptations and species ecology.

TEKS Aligned Option
2 Hour TEKS Aligned Trip
Our TEKS Aligned option is tailored exclusively for Audubon TERN Citizen Science Program students (6th-12th grade). Throughout their visit, students step into the shoes of field biologists, contributing to the Audubon Society's invaluable data collection efforts. By conducting surveys of colonial waterbirds in our wetlands, they play a vital role in scientific research.
