Primary duties encompass warmly greeting visitors and providing informative responses to inquiries.

Ideal candidates possess a personable demeanor and comprehensive knowledge of South Padre Island's diverse flora, fauna, tourist attractions, accommodations, and dining options.

Preference will be given to candidates with credentials as a Master Naturalist.

Primary duty entails effectively communicating the mission of the South Padre Birding, Nature & Alligator Sanctuary mission in a second language.

Proficiency in any language is taken into consideration and highly valued.

Volunteering during "Habitat Tuesday" required for 4 weeks. Other volunteering times available after completion. (required to learn plants and native gardening techniques)

Primary duties involve ensuring the health of our gardens and habitats by removing invasive plants and maintaining our seasonal bird feeders.

Volunteers with proficient native plant identification skills are preferred.
