About the Event

Enjoy a morning of birding and history on the Southernmost corner of the state!

The tour will visit botanically lush and historical Sabal Palm and Montezuma Cypress forests in a daydream along the famous "Southmost Blvd." in Brownsville.

Classic RGV bird species such as Green Jays, Chachalacas, Great Kiskadees, Gray Hawks, Green Kingfishers, and Red-crowned Parrots are possible delights for this tour.

Expert guides will interpret the nature and birds of the area and local historians will relate the history preserved in these gems in the "Southmost" subtropical corner of Texas.

Maybe we'll stop for a burger or an ice cream at a special stand somewhere along the way!

Cancellations must be done 4 days in advance for a 50% refund.

In case of severe weather, the tour will be postponed to Tuesday, Feb 10th.
