About the event
Explore the amazing bird life of South Padre Island with a relaxed morning stroll on our boardwalk! Wander through stunning tidal wetlands and a peaceful freshwater oasis with our Naturalist Educators leading the way.
Late summer is a great time for birding on SPI! Juvenile birds born this summer are learning the ropes of life along the Laguna Madre and the first fall migratory birds start to drop into our wetlands and gardens. Plenty of interesting sights to enjoy!
Tours are limited to 10 participants. Sanitized binoculars are loaned during the tour.
Birding Tours at this time are limited to students above 13 years of age as well as adults and seniors.
Ticket includes a $10 guided tour fee and a discounted $5 admission fee.
